This study has been conducted on teacher leadership in the context of the researcher's homeland, Bangladesh and analyses the role of practice teaching (e.g. school teaching for a short period of time as a part of B.Ed (Hons) course) in the development of leadership qualities in pre-service teachers of the country.

Iffat Naomee completed her MA in Education (Leadership and Management) from University of Worcester, Worcestershire, UK in 2014 and is working for the education of underprivileged children of Bangladesh ever since. She is currently working as the Content Lead of Khan Academy Bangla Initiative of Agami Inc., a US based non-profit organization.
