This Book is designed to meet the requirements of IB.Tech students. In many universities, engineering science programs may be offered at the levels of B.Tech, B.Sc. Usually, a core of basic and advanced courses in mathematics, physics, chemistry, and biology forms the foundation of the curriculum, while typical elective areas may include principles of quantum Mechanics, Semiconductor Physics, Dielectric materials, Magnetic materials, Superconductivity, nanomaterials, nanoscience, nanotechnology. While typical undergraduate engineering programs generally focus on the application of established methods to the design and analysis of engineering solutions, undergraduate program in engineering science focuses on the creation and use of more advanced experimental or computational techniques i.e., development of engineering solutions to contemporary problems in the physical and life sciences by applying fundamental principles. Physics is the mother of Engineering and Technology. Without the application of concept of Physics there can be no technological developments. So, This book covers all the relevant topics in Engineering Physics.

DR. E. PURUSHOTHAM has done Ph.D in the field of "X-Ray studies of HCP metals and alloys" at Kakatiya University in 2010. The other areas of his interested research are Nanomaterials, Solid State Physics, Material science. He has published 59 research papers in International and National journals and attended 63 conference/seminars/workshops etc.
