Knowledge management is considered to be an emerging field of knowledge that offers for the academic libraries the opportunity to improve effectiveness for both themselves and their parents department. Further, the wide difference has been arrived in traditional functions of academic libraries and present scenario. This book proposed herewith emphasizes on evaluating knowledge management practices adopted in various academic libraries in United Arab Emirates. The entire global economy in today's world is coming up with new technologies and concepts. It is through an in-depth research that the knowledge in present scenario is highly refined. Further, the evolution of knowledge and information in varied range has affected operations at various organizations. It is essential for academic institutions to have an effective knowledge management system along with the other departments in the same organization. The manners in which academic libraries operate tend to have an impact on other departments and on the parent organization.
