Dave returns to Ida, his girlfriend as a battered man searching for his biological mother. Joan's niece, Lisa, is yet to find the twins she abandoned in a tip. it does not hurt Dave's friend, Vicki, that his parents rejected him as a baby but rejecting him the second time after he has found them is what is ripping his heart apart. but the unwavering love of his foster mother makes him understand that a child is a precious gift from God that should be treasured and not cast out like a garbage.
