Essential English Grammar, Exercises and Writing consists detailed notes on English grammar, notes on reading comprehension and vocabulary, reading comprehension and vocabulary exercises, structure and usage exercises, sentence comprehension, and short notes on paragraph and composition writing. There are 100, 765 and 80 questions with answers on reading comprehension and vocabulary, structure and usage and sentence comprehension respectively. The writer hopes that the users of this book would refer to many English books, references and English Grammar books which may encourage them to develop the habit of reading which in turn facilitates their English language development. In Eritrea, English becomes medium of instruction in grade six. That the learners will be able to learn all their subjects better if they have a good knowledge of English. Hence, the book has the following objectives: 1. To help learners improve their knowledge of English Grammar 2. To help learners improve their understanding of written English, 3. To help learners develop their vocabulary, 4. To help learners develop their ability to write and 5. To help learners prepare for exams such as ESECE, TOEFL.
