This book overviews the definition of Radio Networks and describes the state of art in the regulatory and standardization activities on the Cognitive Radio all over the world, which are deemed to have fundamental influence on the future of wireless communications. Cognitive Radio concepts can be applied to a variety of wireless communication scenarios, a few of which are described in this book. In addition, the major applications and function of the Cognitive Radio Networks are reviewed in this book.

Praghash.K from Sathankulam, India; born in 1992. Received his Ph.D. degree in Computer Science and Engineering from the Anna University, Chennai, India. He is one of the Research fellow of the TNSCST - RFRS 2016. His research interest includes Wireless Communications, Sensor Networks and Internet of Things.
