Beschreibung
Education that is worthwhile acts in freedom producing ways. It engenders thinking processes in which the student is able to find, evaluate, and effectively apply information. However, effective education that truly enables and satisfies becomes more than a self-centred achievement. While it is constructive and beneficial to the individual learner, it is also empowering of the wider milieu in which that individual lives and works. As social creatures we live in community with each other. Education when it enables will thus satisfy both the individual learner and the broader society.

Since 2011 Gwayaweng Kiki from Papua New Guinea has been senior lecturer in Church Ministry at the Pacific Theological College Suva, Fiji. His doctorate from Charles Sturt University, Australia, studied the cultural contextualization of education. Edmund (Ed) Parker, an Australian has a PhD in education from The University of Newcastle, Australia.
