Beschreibung

A new health education system for the 21st century requires new teaching and learning methods that will radically train all health sciences, professions and medical students to be complex health problem solvers to address most challenging health problems in society. As many of these problems are interdisciplinary in nature, participatory instruction is equivocal. Participatory learning environment provides opportunities to expose students in other disciplines to discuss, collaborate, negotiate roles, advocate, solve problems and make team decisions. Direct instruction is no longer adequate, as health environments are completely inter-professional and complex in nature. This book is a sample example of designing an inter-profession education healthcare participatory learning instruction group modules project. However, when students have no prior knowledge participatory and direct instruction should be applied.
