In this book, keynotes and paper presentations for a seminar on the theme Curriculum Theory Revisited in Sweden are reported. The seminar marked the start of a biennial conference on curriculum theory in Scandinavia. Curriculum theory addresses issues related to education practice, policy and research, as well as their interaction. Particular attention is paid to the selection, transmission and assessment of knowledge, and the relations between various stakeholders. Curriculum issues tend to be transdisciplinary; and different perspectives and methods have been applied and developed within curriculum studies. Lundgren, sheorganized a seminar, which the book Curriculum Theory Revisitedis based on. Presently, Eva Forsberg is involved in researchprojects on education policy with focus on curriculum issuesusing a comparative perspective.
