This book deals with bibliometric analysis. The term 'bibliometrics' otherwise called as 'Scientometrics' or 'Infometrics. The core context of the study discusses growth of literature in the concerned subject, authorship pattern, publication pattern, Structure of Knowledge and growth of a subject. In this study, Engineering faculty has been considered and studies made on the subject has been taken into analysis. The study has made use of COMPENDEX-CD which contains literature of all the Engineering studies.

P.Dhanasekaran, currently working as Assistant Librarian and Library in-charge, Taramani Campus Library, University of Madras, Chennai - 113, Tamil Nadu, India. He obtained his Master Degrees M.A., M.L.I.S from University of Madras. He has attended more than 50 conferences and published more than 3 research papers in various international journals.
