When developing the materials that we teach, most of us are concerned with designing materials that will sharpen our students thinking skills. Rather, we accomplish this aim by providing our students with interesting reading materials, lectures and class discussions, as students read more and hear more we justify that they will gain knowledge and discover new contexts for their ideas as well as thinking critically. However reading assignments and lectures do not ensure that our students will improve their critical thinking.
