Jimmy Unuwhezi Ojadonor was born in 1961 in Bayelsa State of Nigeria. He attended Community Primary School, Anibeze in 1969-1973 and Oproza Grammar School, Patani in 1974-1979. He obtained bachelor of library/information science and master in information management from Ahmadu Bello University, in 2006 and 2009 respectively.
