Small and Medium Enterprises(SMEs) have been recognised all over the world as a viable alternative means to grow the economy of a nation. However, SMEs are plagued with funding gap which inhibits the growth expected. SMEs had sought financial support primarily from commercial banks which most times demand collateral and comes with high interest rates and other conditions that are not met by SME. This book identified and explains other alternatives and innovative ways of financing a business especially SMEs. The book provides detailed information on the concept of SME with focus on developing countries as well as innovative sources of alternative SMEs.It concludes with brief investment memorandum which are mostly used to set up venture capital or equity fund to attract potential investors.Alternative Financing for SMEs has filled a gap in finance and investment.
