Ursula Friederich, Stuttgart, ist Diplom-Biologin mit Fachgebiet Herpetologie (Terraristik). Sie hielt und züchtete Chamäleons, Wasserschildkröten und Vogelspinnen. Werner Volland, Lauchheim, betreute die Futtertierzucht und das Insektarium in der Stuttgarter Wilhelma und leitete viele Jahre eine gewerbliche Futtertierzucht.
