Katrin Salhenegger-Niamir wuchs im steirischen Mürzzuschlag auf und entdeckte schon als Kind ihre große Leidenschaft zur Videoproduktion. Jahre später studierte sie Theater-, Film- und Medienwissenschaften (BA) und Anglistik und Amerikanistik (Mag.) an der Universität Wien. Um ihre Leidenschaft der englischen Sprache und des Filmens noch weiter zu vertiefen, beschloss sie, an der University of Galway in Irland Film Production and Direction (M.A.) zu studieren. Seitdem arbeitet sie vor allem in den Bereichen Marketing, Videoproduktion und Übersetzungen in deutscher und englischer Sprache. Neben ihrer Leidenschaft für Videoproduktion, interessiert sie sich auch für das kreative Schreiben, Reisen, verschiedene Kulturen, Weltküche und Natur.
