This book presents a research that was done in Punjab, India. The main objective of research work was to develop an efficient and tunable transformation based ECG compression technique and to accomplish this objective first the transformation based ECG compression techniques studied and the possibility of improvement in these explored. Second the various transforms that are not used till date for ECG compression studied for their suitability for transformation based ECG compression techniques.

Vibha Aggarwal, Assistant Professor holds a Ph.D in Electronics and Communication Engineering. She has 8-years of Teaching and professional experience. She has total of 6 research publications and 18 publications in International and National Conferences. She is a member of professional bodies ISTE and Punjab Academy of Sciences.
