This book is a modest attempt to provide a detailed overview of the ongoing Middle East Respiratory Syndrome (MERS) infection affecting hundreds of individuals annually. Considering the global outbreaks of the syndrome, the authors felt a need to disseminate knowledge among healthcare professionals and the general public about mode of spread of the disease, treatment options and preventive measures. For the sake of convenience, the book is written in simplified language and incorporates a number of illustrations and figures. We believe that this guidelines-based book will cater to the needs of physicians, healthcare professionals, researchers and also to the general public.

B.B.Sarah Nousheen is currently a student of Pharm D at Anwarul Uloom College of Pharmacy, India. She has been the winner of an oral presentation at a National Conference and has published research articles and reviews in reputed journals under the guidance of her professor, Dr. Pathan Amanulla Khan.
