This book includes major issues in wound tissue repair and regeneration in 14 chapters. The topics start from cytological basis, molecular and genetic basis, skin development, to the tissue repair, visceral injury and tissue engineering. In the second part, it introduces Chinese researchers contribution in wound repair and regeneration. Specially, it has 3 chapters discussing new technologies in tissue repair and regeneration, and 1 chapter in Traditional Chinese Medicine.
Autorenporträt
Fu Xiaobing, academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering, specialist in trauma and tissue repair and regenerative medicine. He is the Director of the Research Center of Trauma Repair and Tissue Regeneration, the Professor of Trauma Surgery, and the Doctoral Supervisor. Professor Fu is also the editor of the book: Advanced Trauma and Surgery, 2017, Springer; Cellular Dedifferentiation and Regenerative Medicine, 2018, Springer; and Severe Trauma and Sepsis, 2019, Springer.
