This book seeks to establish factors that influences the spatial location and interaction of human societies, determine the growth and development of human geography, explain the philosophical and methodological evolution of human geography during the classical, modern and contemporary phases, describe the spatial structure of rural and urban land uses with reference to various theories, determine the types and barriers of spatial diffusion of ideas and behaviour of man in society.

Caroline Mulinya currently as lecturer at Masinde Muliro University of Science and Technology(Kenya). She holds a bachelor in education in Arts(Geography), a master in Arts(Climatology) and currently pursuing PhD in Geography( Climatology).She is mainly interested in teaching and researches on climate and climate change issues.
