Fluvial geomorphology is a science devoted to understanding rivers, both in their natural setting as well as how they respond to human-induced changes in a watershed. It is the scientific study of landforms developed by river water. The rivers and its floodplain features are also important to economic development of a nation. So, it is the most interesting topic of scholarly investigation.The book is not planned only for U.G and P.G students, but also for their research work and academic study.
