This book is aim to provoding the basic concept of corrosion and its inhibition effect of inhibitors for steel in acid media. Basically corrosion is a natural phenomenan it can not be avoided but can control by using some methods. The use of corrosion inhibitors is the most convinient and practical method to analyse the corrosion inhibition mechanism. Hence we look farward to the developement of excellent non toxic corrosion inhibitors for steel in acid media. This book gives theoretical and experimental evaluation of corrosion inhibition effect of inhibitors by using weight loss, electrochemical Tafel polarization, electrochemical impedance spectroscopy (EIS), Quantum chemical and Scnning electron microscopy (SEM).

Dr. Prasanna B M is currently working as an Associate Professor in the Departement of Chemistry, Jain Institute of Technology, Davanage. India. He has completed his P. hD in(2017) chemistry.
