Beschreibung
During last seventy years, an impressive amount of flavoproteins has been characterised and many details about their catalytic and structural features have been determined. Flavoproteins found their assertion in biotechnology and diagnostics. This book providing a complex view on these proteins is focused on the structure of flavoproteins, mechanism of their action, kinds of their classification into several groups and description of their functions. Some of these interesting biomolecules are described in detail.
Autorenporträt
Sárka Stepánková received her Ph.D. in Analytical Chemistry from University of Pardubice, Czech Republic, in 2006. Her research is focused on enzymes. She is the author or co-author of several research papers. Presently she works as a lecturer at the Department of Biological and Biochemical Sciences, University of Pardubice.
