Beschreibung
In the book series Texte und Studien zur mittelhochdeutschen Heldenepik (Texts and Studies on Middle High German Heroic Epics) heroic epics that have not yet been accessible in modern scientific editions will be edited according to the base manuscript principle ("Leithandschriftenprinzip") with a thorough documentation of differences in editions and textual variance. The editions will be complemented with studies on the textual history and the texts transmission.
