The aim of this book is to understand: Parts of speech, sentence and types of sentences based on word order, tenses (including conditional tenses), determiners, types of sentences based on clauses (simple/ compound/ complex/ compound-complex), transformation of sentences, synthesis of sentences, subject-verb concord, phrases (verb phrases/ prepositional phrases/ adjectival phrases and adverbial phrases/ noun phrases), direct-indirect speech (third person reporting), idioms, proverbs, idiomatic phrases.
