This book analyzes the concepts of power and resistance through the events, characters, and symbols that occurred in the novel. And classifies the figures of power and resistance, in addition to events that represented power and resistance. Furthermore, it reveals the idea of western spring through describing the oppressive power of the Capitol and the reaction of such power on creating the resistance as a new form of power in Panem.

Dareen Saaid Hayajneh was born in 1994. She graduated from AL- Balqaa Applied University, Princess Alia University College with a Bachelor of Arts in English language and Literature in January 2016. Completed Masters of Arts degree in English Language and Literature from Middle East University Amman in March 2018.
