This book, is primarily written as a response to the dearth of correct information on the subject of African Traditional Religion by African authors. Each of the twenty-one chapters of the book discusses various themes, concepts and issues about African Religion and Philosophy. The book also examines critically, many socio-cultural values cum the changing world-view of the people. The book is a handy teaching material on the subject of African Religion and Philosophy.

Sunday Funmilola Babalola graduated from Obafemi Awolowo University, Nigeria, in 1986. He obtained his Master's Degree in Philosophy of Religion at Lagos State University, Nigeria, in 2004 and his PhD in Philosophy of Religion at Ekiti State University, Ado-Ekiti, Nigeria. He is married to Deborah and Blessed with two boys.
