Beschreibung

The preference for the Mother of God and her apparitions in Dietrichswalde (Gietrzwald) led the author of this book, Alicja Swiecicka, to the scientific knowledge of this phenomenon. First she describes the historical-political situation of Warmia, in order to be able to present the course and content of the Marian apparitions in detail on this basis. These took place in Warmia from 27 June to 16 September 1877. Mary appeared to two girls at a maple tree: 13-year-old Justyna Szafrynska and 12-year-old Barbara Samulowska. The invitation to pray the Rosary triggered a pilgrimage movement. According to the content, Alicja Swiecicka makes a theological analysis, stressing that Mary revealed herself as the Immaculate Conception. Then she describes the 140-year history of Dietrichswalde after the apparitions, emphasizing here the ecclesial recognition of the apparitions for the centenary celebration, in order to finally compare them with the apparitions of Mary in other places like La Salette, Lourdes, Fatima i Kibeho. This book has been translated with Artificial Intelligence.
