Beschreibung
This book proposes a sychronic reading for the book of Jonah. In spite of apparent divergencies in style, the narrative part of the book of Jonah and the Psalm of Jonah in the second chapter of the book share in common the theme of salvation from God. This same theme facilitates a better understanding of the sign of Jonah as used by Jesus in the Gospels in reference to his death and resurrection.
Autorenporträt
Ignatius Okoli is a Catholic Priest from Nigeria. He holds Licentiate in Sacred Scripture from Pontifical Biblical Institute Rome and Doctorate in Biblical Theology from Pontifical Gregorian University also in Rome. He is also the author of The Motif of Search: Intertextuality of the Song of Songs and Gen 1-3 on Gender Relationship.
