This book examined the Biblical approach to poverty and dehumanisation factors that cause of peace and injustice. The examined sources show different relationships in which man is seen to stand in the Bible particularly prophetic books. The objectives of this study were: to evaluate the role of man in creation story to promote peace, to analyse prophet Hosea clause My people are ruined for lack of knowledge, to analyse Isaiah servant songs on practice of justice and injustice in relation with peace and to evaluate the dehumanising factor of poverty as cause the peace and injustice. The primary purpose of this study was shine light on the voices of religious individually and collectively to participate in bring awareness to barriers of poverty, eradication of corruption and maintenance of peace and justice.

Gakinya Kigamba holds Master degree from Kenyatta University, Nairobi, Kenya in applied Mathematics and Education. Bachelor of Education from Nairobi University, Bachelor of Theology from University of South Africa and Higher Diploma in Theology from Carlile College, Africa. Gakinya has taught Mathematics in all levels of education.
