Beschreibung
This general index compiles and condenses all the indexes from the 29 volumes of the Protestant Church Ordinances, an edition of sources showing the implementation and regulation of the Reformation in 16th century Germany. Since the indexes of the volumes vary significantly in form and content due to the long history of the edition and several changes in editors, the general index focuses on unifying the existing key words. The thematic organization of the key words improves comparability and enables a specific search for certain topics in all the volumes.
