The problem examined in this research concerns leadership of the Pastoral Epistles and its biblical foundation. This study presents God's evaluation on leadership in the scriptures and how Christian leaders should live, preach, and manage the church. Leadership is a complicated subject in the local church setting. Bernard M. Bass writes in his book on leadership: There are almost as many different definitions of leadership as there are people who have attempted to define the concept. By examining the Pastoral Epistles that was sent to the younger minister Timothy, this book seeks for the biblical framework of pastoral leadership.
