Beschreibung
Fundamental differences in epistemic assumptions about the appropriate subject matter and methods for human psychology have contributed to disagreements about both research methodology and external validity of empirically supported therapies (ESTs). These differences are evident in assumptions about the design and interpretation of outcome studies as well as questionable conclusions about the professional and social implications of existing lists of ESTs.
