Emotional intelligence is the "Street smartness" in a person reflecting on his/her ability to deal successfully with other people, his/her feelings, and his/her every day social environment. By dealing with these pressures successfully, the individual will be better able to positively influence overall well-being. With this will get an idea about emotional intelligence and problem solving behaviour of children, regarding this issue the researcher investigate the emotional intelligence of children and problem solving behaviour of elementary school children. Students who will take up the research on to assess the emotional intelligence and strategies to solve the problem behaviour of children.

Gudimitla Vani Prasanthi completed her Master's Degree in Home Science (Human Development) from Sri Venkateswara University, Tirupati. She also completed PG Diploma in Pre-school Education and PG Diploma in Guidance and Counselling. At present she is doing Ph.D. in Department of Home Science, S.V. University, Tirupati.
