Caroline I. Magyar, Ph.D., is an Associate Professor of Pediatrics at the Strong Center for Developmental Disabilities, Neurodevelopmental and Behavioral Pediatrics Division, Department of Pediatrics, and Director of the Rochester Regional Center for Autism Spectrum Disorders, University of Rochester School of Medicine and Dentistry, Rochester, NY. Dr. Magyar holds a Ph.D. in Clinical/School Psychology from Hofstra University and an M.A. in Applied Behavioral Technology from Adelphi University. Dr. Magyars work focuses on the assessment and treatment of autism spectrum disorders, and the development and evaluation of educational program models for public and private schools. She is the recipient of numerous private, state, and federal grants in the areas of personnel preparation, community education, research, and service; and has written several chapters and papers on the assessment and treatment of autism spectrum and developmental disabilities.
