This theoretical study aims to analyze and integrate the abundant amount of data on adolescent bereavement experiences, mainly addressing how unresolved grief affects the teenager's development and emotional wellbeing. The study is theoretical and involves a comprehensive review of the literature to determine the effects of peer loss. It includes a hermeneutic interpretation to verify adolescents traumatic experiences and grief reactions. The study explores different models and theories of grief, as well as observes how attachment orientations and emotions are interfering with adolescents grief processes.

Dr. Lakadawala earned her accredited doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology from California Southern University (USA) and is a Professional Clinical Psychologist with the Dubai Health Authority (UAE). Dr. Pardo is an Honorary Full Professor of Psychology and Business (PRC) supervising graduate research at several universities as an Adjunct.
