This book ought to be understood as a call for personal intellectual endeavor and curiosity, for readers of all generations, in order to penetrate the complex phenomenon of war and peace, a phenomenon which directly concerns every human being, and that will grow increasingly important for all people and nations today, and our children tomorrow.
