Karwan Salih Waisy Guli is a Kurds from the Kurdistan Region of Iraq. He studied general history at the College of Education at the University of Dohuk. He earned his Mphil degree from the National University of Malaysia (UKM), at the Institute of Malaysian and International Studies (IKMAS). He is currently working at the University of Zakho.
