ADHD (Attention Deficient Hyperactive Disorder) is an extensive childhood disorder that affects millions of children. The DSMV2013 is the official diagnostic tool to identify this disorder. The DSMV does not address ADHD at an age below 12 years of age. Children in early childhood with ADHD experience negative reactions from their surroundings, which affects their self-image and self-confidence. The programme suggested in this book guides Kindergarten teachers and parents in ways to help young children with ADHD improve their self-regulatory behaviours. Which is the central problem in children with ADHD, thus allowing them to integrate more successfully in their natural surroundings, home and kindergarten.
Autorenporträt
Dr Aviva Dan is the Head of the Early Childhood Department at Ohalo College in Kazrin. She is also a pedagogical advisor to students who are studying to be Kindergarten Teachers. In the past she was a pedagogical advisor to Early Childhood day care centers in the North and South of Israel.
