Readers can rapidly and efficiently obtain substantiated information on Tocqueville's theories, central concepts and his most significant influences. Concurrently, the handbook serves as a reference for understanding Tocqueville's relationship to contemporary debates and subject areas. Norbert Campagna is Associate Professor at the Université du Luxembourg and a secondary school teacher of philosophy, history, English, psychology and civics. Prof. Dr. Oliver Hidalgo is Professor of Political Science at the University of Passau.
