Bildung is a central topic in public discourse: participation, equal opportunities, responsibility, progress - all of these issues are related to Bildung or are to be promoted through educational processes. How Bildung is conceptualised varies greatly and is linked not least to fundamental questions about reality and the significance of interpersonal encounters. This book takes a critical look at Hans-Christoph Koller's understanding of Bildung and discusses it based on the philosophical concepts by Gilles Deleuze and Félix Guattari.
