Asthma is an increasingly prevalent condition worldwide. The book deals with general aspects of therapeutics status of asthma as well as various therapeutic medication. The book also reflects natural sources available in asthma treatment with description of disease pathophysiology.Various target having specific biological activities such as bronchodilation, mast cell stabilization, anti-anaphylactic, anti-inflammatory, anti-spasmodic, anti-allergic, immunomodulatory and inhibition of mediators such as leukotrienes, lipoxygenase, cyclooxygenase, platelet activating, phosphodiesterase and cytokine, in the treatment of asthma has also been discussed.
