Teaching Translation is a practical guide for lecturers who teach translation at Undergraduate level in general. It is rather suitable for those who teach translation in large classes; for instance, classes in the Kurdistan Region. The book focuses on the importance of acquiring a number of translation competences in order to be eligible to teach at undergraduate level efficiently and effectively. Likewise, current student-centered pedagogical approaches alongside with effective pedagogical practice at such classes are analysed and underlined in light of the context.
Autorenporträt
Hawran Saeed is a researcher and distinguished lecturer in the field of English Language Teaching and Translation Studies in Kurdistan Region-Iraq. His dissertation in Translation Studies for his Aston University degree is exemplary, with his services being hired by many international organisations including Birmingham College and British Council.
