This book covers in concise manner rudiments in teaching and learning processes. Most of these rudiments are currently either being neglected or not fully understood by even teachers. This phenomenon has dire consequences on learning outcomes in the contemporary world. Nowadays, the poor quality of teaching and learning in the Nigerian education system is quite worrisome. The teacher who understands and competently discharges his/her job would help enhance the learning outcomes of pupils/students in the school system. Thus, teachers must be made to fully prepare for their job through an effective training and retraining. This book is aimed at ensuring that teacher education students and practicing teachers continue to avail themselves to the processes of teaching and learning in the contemporary world.

Solomon Garba is currently a lecturer in the Faculty of Education, and the Deputy Director, General Studies, Gombe State University, Gombe - Nigeria. He is currently pursuing PhD Educational Psychology, University of Nigeria, Nsukka (UNN).He has published articles in reputable journals, internationally and locally.
