Zimbabwe used to be considered as a potential developing country in Africa, however, it has been facing various aspects of drawbacks. This book seeks to unravel two key problem topics which are being faced by youths and women in Zimbabwe. It is comprised of studies which were carried out by the researcher, who is also the author, using an exploratory design to capture data pertaining to the above mentioned issues. The book seeks to inform various stakeholders about challenges being faced in Zimbabwe such as discrimination and oppression of women as well as problems faced by youths in both rural and urban settings. It is therefore the book's contention to facilitate change out of the detected vacuums for quality national development.

Dickson Machimbidza is an upcoming researcher and author within the vicinity of social sciences. He is aimed at capacitating academic and professional knowledge in evolving societies in both developing and developed countries. He is also a member of the National Association of Social Workers in Zimbabwe (NASW-Z).
