Social development in China has undergone a transition from social management to social governance. In this process, social work and social security development has been greatly promoted. This book is about study on some issues in social work and social security in the Chinese Context. Section One is social work theory and practice study in the Chinese Context in eight chapters. Section Two is the Chinese medical social policy study which focuses on medical security programs for the urban poor in two chapters. Section Three is social work education discussion in three chapters. This book is full of thoughts about the differences of social work theory, practice and education in the Chinese context. It aims to provide valuable references for scholars in international social work and social policy study.
