Beschreibung
The purpose of this study is to increase the reading comprehension for students who suffer from mild intellectual deficiency by implementing a cooperative learning strategy jigsaw designed based on observations and continuous work with the students. In addition this study sheds the light on the effectiveness of the jigsaw strategy in increasing also the students self- efficacy. The targeted group were grade eight students.

Hana Hisham Alasad is a special educator. She obtained her M.A degree in special education recently from the Lebanese University (2017). She has been working as a special educator for six consecutive years. She is perusing her Ph.D in special education.
