Until very recently, activity schedules that aim to help individuals with autism organize their lives and independently execute daily tasks were prepared in bulky folders that were hard to manage and carry around. In the past two or three years, leading schools in autism education started using iPads for activity schedules, which are more convenient to use and prepare. Although there are books explaining how to prepare activity schedules in folders using paper-based methods, this is the first book to explain how to create activity schedules in iPads for children with autism and how to teach children to follow these schedules independently. This book aims to be a guide for parents and caregivers who wish to implement in their homes the principles that are used in schools for autism education worldwide.

Ceymi Doenyas graduated Princeton University summa cum laude with degrees in Psychology, Neuroscience and Near Eastern Studies. She has been working with and for individuals with autism for 8 years. She won the Princeton ReachOut Fellowship and helped start the use of iPads in autism education in Turkey and is a published researcher in that field.
