Experiential education and education for sustainable development: two concepts that have hardly been considered together - until now. This book develops the basic features of experiential education for sustainability and provides insights into a possible educational practice. Sustainability-building experiential education unfolds as a transformative and (differentially) aesthetic educational concept that aims to empower people to participate in sustainable development by staging challenging situations. The practical implementation is illustrated using the Whole Institution Approach.
