Beschreibung
What are the competencies of outstanding teachers? How have the demands on teachers changed? Where and how do teachers acquire teaching competence, and what are the implications for the development of didactic staff in higher education? Using a replication study, the author shows that outstanding teaching is based on five core elements, which emphasise the importance of values in teaching competence and have implications for continuing education.
