This book is a compilation of vocabulary, idioms, collocations and questions that promote conversation and improvement of oral language skills in the ESL classroom. Students and teachers can make use of this book in order to engage in meaningful conversation, taking time to teach and learn new vocabulary words or expressions listed before each topic. The teacher is to take advantage of opportunities to elaborate on emergent language, grammar and vocabulary so as to make the most of this book and give a better language learning experience to his or her students.
Autorenporträt
Having grown up in various regions of the United States, I was exposed to many different dialects and ways of speaking. Not until I was 19 did I first travel to Spain and find myself amongst speakers of a foreign tongue. I immediately fell in love with the Spanish language and have been studying and teaching modern languages ever since.
